An apartment complex did not properly secure its pool. While a mother was napping, her toddler followed his older brother out the front door. He eventually made his way to the pool, which had an inadequate and poorly secured gate. The toddler fell into the pool and nearly drowned, but he was thankfully saved and resuscitated by a neighbor. Our firm was able to ensure the property owner paid this amount even before filing a lawsuit. We are also happy to report the toddler is now on his way to making a full recovery.
