Matthew was raised in Salisbury, North Carolina. He always knew he wanted to work in litigation but never knew how to get into the field. The first few years after high school Matthew worked multiple jobs, but the urge to go back to school and work in the legal sector was always in the back of his mind.

Matthew would end up going back to school in 2022 to pursue a degree in paralegal studies. In his first semester in the program, Matthew made all A’s and has performed this way since. His merit and involvement in paralegal studies were the catalyst to his landing at Edwards Injury Law. Matthew assists Attorney Edwards in many of the law firm’s day-to-day operations but is known at the firm for his courthouse and litigation procedure expertise.

Upon completing his paralegal studies, Matthew plans on transferring to a four-year university and plans to attend law school. Matthew strives to always uphold the ideals of “hard work and excellence” in everything he does.
